Bank Mandiri, Indonesia's most respected bank has unveiled its plan to start the expansion to Asia Pacific region. Earlier this year, Bank Mandiri has opened up offices in Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai, following other cities like London, Singapore, and Hongkong. Next year, it plans to expand its operation to Doha (Qatar), Dubai (UAE), and Jeddah and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). It is a good model for other Indonesian companies, that continuous dependent on domestic market will only setback our effort to enter the Asian economic integration which will take place soon.
