When was the last time you watched Indonesia's war movie? Long time ago, rite? It was the time when movies about struggle were used by New-Order government to increase and keep up the nationalism of the people. Janur Kuning, Cut Nya'Dien, Diponegoro, Lebak Membara, and many more were aired almost every year. But, hey...I like all war movies, I mean, quality war movie. This post was made possible by GNFI's loyal reader and active contributor, Mr. Yudha. (Thanks again, man). Here we go! Indonesia will release the newest big-budgeted  movie on its Independence Day (August 17, 2009). The film ittled Merah Putih was the first film from Kemerdekaan (Independence) Trilogy.
