Mathematic competition in international level recently was held in Rumania, International Mathematic Contest, on 22-29th March 2011. This contest was joined by students from many countries, including Indonesia. An Indonesian student, Alyssa Diva Mustika, from SMP Negeri 1 Pamekasan, East Java, successfully won gold medal from this International Mathematic Contest. Interviewed by reporter, Diva felt so happy she could win this gold medal. She said that achieving this gold medal wasn’t easy because the competition with other participants from other countries was very strict. Beside Diva, there were other nine participants from Indonesia who joined this contest. Hopefully Diva could be a role model and inspiration for other students in Indonesia to be better in education.
