Most of young people in Indonesia must be familiar with this stuff : Rubik's Cube. The Rubik's Cube is a 3-D mechanical puzzle invented in 1974by Hungarian sculptor and professor of Architecture Erno Rubik. this world best selling toy is Originally called the "Magic Cube". In a classic Rubik's Cube, each of the six faces is covered by nine stickers, among six solid colors (traditionally white, red, blue, orange, yellow and green).A pivot mechanism enables each face to turn independently, thus mixing up the colors. For the puzzle to be solved, each face must be a solid color. Solving a Rubik's cube may take several hours for an amateur solver. but not for a Rubiks expert named Muhammad Iril Khairul Anam. He could solve 16 3x3x3 Rubik's cubes with his eyes closed in 57 minutes! could you imagine? if it was me, I wouldn't be able to solve any rubik within a week :P




Iril, who is now studying Informatical Management in Gunadarma University, did it in Jakarta Open 2010, on January. this achievement made him finally beat the previous world record for multiple blindfolded, who was held by a Chinese speedsolver named Tong Jiang. Iril is now holding the world recordfor 3×3×3 Rubik's Cube: Multiple Blindfolded Solving. he also holds an Asian record for solving 5x5x5 Rubik's Cube: Blindfolded in 24 minutes.
