Inilah Daerah di Indonesia yang akan Mengalami Gerhana Matahari Total Terlama

Di setiap wilayah Indonesia nantinya akan mengalami durasi GMT yang berbeda. Inilah daerah yang paling lama mengalami gerhana matahari.

Gerhana Matahari Total (GMT) pada 9 Maret 2016 akan terlihat paling lama di Ibu Kota Kabupaten Halmahera Timur yakni Maba. Di antara durasi di kota-kota lain, Maba dianggap jadi tempat terbaik melihat GMT.

"Daerah yang paling lama mengalami gerhana matahari di Maba, Halmahera Timur, Provinsi Maluku Utara sekitar 3 menit 17 detik," kata Kepala Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional (LAPAN), Thomas Djalaluddin.

Ia mengatakan durasi Gerhana Matahari Total di Indonesia semakin ke timur akan semakin lama. Di setiap wilayah Indonesia nantinya akan mengalami durasi GMT yang berbe

"Di wilayah barat, Puncak Gerhana Matahari Total bagi dilalui pada pukul 7.20 WIB. Waktunya hanya selama 1,5 menit. Bagian tengah, puncak gerhananya pukul 8.35 WITA. Waktu gerhananya 2 menit. Di Timur, pukul 9.50 WIT selama 2-3 menit," jelasnya.

Maba adalah satu tempat yang dapat dijangkau dari Ternate menggunakan pesawat terbang dan jalur darat. Jika menggunakan pesawat, ia menjelaskan lama tempuh perjalanan yakni 28 menit.

"Kalau jalan darat naik mobil sekitar 2-3 jam," imbuhnya.

Menteri Pariwisata Arief Yahya menyambut momen durasi terlama tersebut dengan kesempatan mempromosikan Maba. Ia berharap pihak pemerintah daerah terkait yakni Maluku Utara untuk mempromosikan.

"Maba itu yang paling lama. Itu kesempatan untuk mempromosikan tempat wisata," tambahnya.

Gerhana Matahari Total 2016 akan melintasi 12 provinsi di Indonesia, seperti Bengkulu, Sumatera Barat, Sumatera Selatan, Bangka Belitung, Jambi, Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Tengah, Kalimantan Selatan, Kalimantan Timur, Sulawesi Barat, Sulawesi Tengah, dan Maluku Utara.

I began my career in the banking industry in 1997, and stayed approx 6 years in it. Then I was assigned for 1 year in Cambodia, as a country coordinator mostly to deliver developmental programs (water and sanitation, education, livelihood). In 2009, he continued his career as a protocol and HR officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Surabaya, and two years later I joined the Political and Economic Section until now, where i have to deal with extensive range of people and government officials, as well as private and government institution troughout eastern Indonesia. I am the founder and Editor-in-Chief in Good News From Indonesia (GNFI), a growing and influential social media movement, and was selected as one of The Most Influential Netizen 2011 by The Marketeers magazine. I also wrote a book on "Fundamentals of Disaster Management in 2007"?, "Good News From Indonesia : Beragam Prestasi Anak Bangsa di dunia"? which was luanched in August 2013, and "Indonesia Bersyukur"? which is launched in Sept 2013.
